Following the International Life Science Institute (ILSI) for Mesoamerica’s first webinar reviewing the different concepts and definitions regarding foods for special dietary uses (FSDU) and food supplements (FS), ILSI organised a second webinar (EN, ES) on Labelling and Claims of Foods for Special Dietary Uses and Food Supplements on 21 July.
ISDI Vice-President Xavier Lavigne presented the Codex framework for FSDU labelling and claims on behalf of ISDI (watch the full webinar below).
The panel was also composed of David Pineda (Managing Director, DPE International Consulting), a regulatory expert on food supplements, and Basil Mathioudakis (Consultant, Food Legislation and Nutrition, Basil Mathioudakis Consulting).
